At Magnolia Farms Riding Academy we offer riding lessons for beginners to advanced, children and adults, in hunt seat and dressage. We occasionally have boarding available and horses to lease for riders in our program.

Lesson Cancellation Policy

We require at least 24 hours notice prior to your lesson should a cancellation be necessary. Call your instructor directly or leave a message at the farm. Emails are only appropriate if it is at least 48 hours before your lesson. No-shows or late cancellations will be charged full price for the lesson.
Instructors will also give students 24 hours notice before canceling; except in cases of extreme weather changes or horse injury. In these cases, the instructor may choose to do an un-mounted lesson in horse care (just as important as riding!) If the instructor is at the farm and has deemed the weather conditions appropriate for riding, then your lesson is still on!
Exceptions to the 24 hour notice policy may be made on a case by case basis. We understand that there are times when advance notification is not possible, and we are willing to work with those who are faced with circumstances beyond their control (natural disasters, sudden emergencies, etc.)
Excessive cancellations and/or lack of sufficient notice will be grounds for beginning a prepayment plan.
Your lesson time and horse are especially reserved for you. Understand that when we book a lesson, this means that the horse cannot be used by another instructor for a 2 - 3 hour block of time. When you cancel without notice, the farm and instructors all lose money because that horse cannot be rescheduled. Owners and leasers must also give as much notice as possible so that the instructors can reschedule their time.
